Attending the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation's Wildlife Ball is quickly becoming an annual tradition for the team at Innovation Visual! It's great to be able to share this wonderful evening with friends and colleagues, and all for a great cause!
Wildlife Ball
The Wildlife Ball is a definite highlight of the social calendar. A fantastic fundraising event hosted by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation and held at the fabulous Dorchester hotel on Park Lane, London.
This year, guests were treated to an incredibly glamorous event, themed 'World Wildlife Day'. The evening included a champagne reception, sumptuous vegetarian three course dinner, entertainment, live music, an exciting auction and even live painting!
World Wildlife Day
This year’s ball was held on 3rd March, on World Wildlife Day, a day chosen to celebrate the wild animals and plants and to how they contribute to the overall health of planet earth. This year’s theme, ‘Partnerships For Wildlife Conservation’, emphasised the responsibility of all individuals and organisations in the protection and conservation of the wildlife on our beautiful planet.
Fundraising
The importance of this event cannot be understated; it is a huge opportunity for the charity to raise much needed money to fund their conservation activities in Africa and Asia. Various fundraising activities took place throughout the evening and £71000 was raised through the silent auction alone!
