While we work very hard and a lot is expected from everyone, it is offset by a lot of fun. We're not just talking daily banter, though there is plenty of that in the team, but with some truly special events, paid for by the business, to reward, motivate and show appreciation for everyone's contribution.
During lockdown we've had Zoom social evenings, most notably a stand-up comedy night with four professional stand-up comedians, as well as a remarkable evening of close-up magic on Zoom which blew us all away. We had the best Christmas party any of us had ever been to on Zoom and numerous smaller, less formal get togethers. Before COVID-19 took over we had regular social events, lunches together and a number of glitzy award ceremonies (including one very glamorous affair at The Dorchester!), but also some pretty special team trips to places like Poland, Lisbon and Ireland which we are looking forward to being able to do again soon.
