September 2019 saw some of the Innovation Visual team return to sunny Brighton for both Measurefest and Brighton SEO. Now in its 20^th year, Brighton SEO is a conference that no SEO professional wants to miss out on – it’s one of the biggest events in the calendar and thousands of search marketers come together to meet and learn. While the conference has come on a long way since the first one held in a room above the pub; the idea behind it is still very much the same. It offers professionals a chance to learn, network and gain practical, actionable tips on how we can improve the work we deliver to our clients back in the office.

Hi, my name is Ellie and I have just completed a four-week internship at Innovation Visual. I have recently finished my second year at the University of Kent studying a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Year in Industry. I finished my placement prior to embarking on my placement year with the Government Economic Service in September.

The digital marketing landscape is continually changing which is why learning and development is so important to us at Innovation Visual.  Investment in training allows us to keep up to date with key changes to allow us to deliver the very best digital marketing services and results to our clients. It also benefits the people who are at the heart of Innovation Visual; as part of their own personal and professional development.

For the second year running, The Innovation Visual team flew out to Poland for a weekend of team building, adventure and to see our colleague, Oktawiusz. Leaving the office slightly earlier on a Thursday afternoon, the team headed to Luton Airport to catch our flight to Katowice International Airport.

Announced at ‘Google Marketing Live’ event, along with a whole heap of important updates to the Google ads platform, was ‘Gallery Ads’. This format aims to bring a more interactive and visually appealing results page. Prabhakar Raghavan, SVP of Google Ads and Commerce had this to say, “By combining search intent with a more interactive visual format, gallery ads make it easier for you to communicate what your brand has to offer”.
