Our Manchester workshops are held at the Townhouse Hotel Manchester, a 4-star hotel housed in a beautifully restored former Victorian cotton warehouse at 101 Portland Street, M1 6DF, at the junction of Portland Street and Princess Street, in the very heart of the city centre.
The hotel is around a 10-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, the city's main intercity rail terminus, with direct services to London Euston in just over two hours, plus connections across the North and to Scotland. Manchester Airport is around 20 minutes by taxi or train. The Manchester Central convention complex is just 7 minutes' walk away. The Metrolink tram network and city free bus services are all close by.
The hotel has 85 en-suite bedrooms, eleven air-conditioned meeting rooms varying in size, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout. The largest event spaces include the Portland Room and the Waterhouse Suite. On-site dining is at the 101 Bar & Lounge, upmarket restaurant-style food and a refurbished bar serving craft beers and cocktails.
You're moments from Albert Square and Manchester Town Hall (a 5-minute walk), the Manchester Art Gallery, Chinatown, the Northern Quarter and the Arndale Centre. Plenty of options for a working dinner or a quick coffee meeting between sessions.
