AI Workshop for Leaders Start Learning
Edinburgh is Scotland's commercial capital and one of Europe's most established financial services centres, but it's also home to a genuinely world-class research base, a fast-growing tech ecosystem, and a deep concentration of professional services, energy and life sciences expertise. Our in-person AI Workshop for Leaders in Edinburgh is designed for the senior leaders shaping how those organisations adopt AI: practical, strategic, and built for the boardroom.
The full-day AI Workshop for Leaders runs in Edinburgh at the voco Edinburgh Royal Terrace, with 2026 dates available.
Why Edinburgh?
Edinburgh is home to the second largest financial centre in the UK, with major banking, asset management and insurance HQs alongside a thriving fintech scene. The city has also become a recognised centre for AI research and applied AI, supported by world-leading institutions and the Edinburgh International Data Facility. For senior leaders in Scotland, AI is a defining strategic question for the next decade. Our Edinburgh workshop is designed for leaders making those calls.
Our Edinburgh workshop is held at voco Edinburgh Royal Terrace, a 4-star hotel at 18-22 Royal Terrace, EH7 5AQ, a beautifully restored Georgian terrace overlooking landscaped private gardens at the eastern edge of Edinburgh's New Town.
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Station, with direct rail services to London King's Cross (around 4.5 hours), Glasgow, Aberdeen and the rest of Scotland. Edinburgh Airport is around 25 minutes by taxi, with regular flights from across the UK and Europe. The hotel sits on a quiet tree-lined street just a short walk from Princes Street, the main shopping district and the Royal Mile.
The hotel has 103 individually styled rooms, four flexible meeting and conference rooms (including the Balmoral Suite, which holds up to 80 delegates theatre-style), and a dedicated boardroom (the Duke of Edinburgh). The Terrace Restaurant offers Scottish-influenced dining with locally sourced produce, and the hotel has its own private tiered landscaped gardens, a genuinely unique setting for the breaks between sessions. On-site facilities include a gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room.
You're a 20-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle, on the doorstep of the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the new St James Quarter, the National Museum of Scotland and Calton Hill. Plenty of options for a working dinner or an evening exploring Edinburgh's New Town and Old Town.

Event Testimonials
"What a delicious feast this veritable “tasting menu” was, as a practical and informed workshop delivered by Innovation Visual. With enough information given to allow for a much more informed understanding of AI, and the current impact that AI is and will continue to have on Industry. And enough practical information presented to give you a grounded and confident approach to the basics of AI Agent prompting, I would thoroughly recommend this workshop to any business professional who is keen to get to grips with AI in every respect, at a foundational level. Very good indeed, well worth it."
