The deadline for Ontario's Accessibility Compliance Report is 31st December 2026. A written review of three key pages from Innovation Visual shows you where your website currently stands against WCAG 2.0 Level AA, so the senior officer who signs the report knows what they are signing.
CAD $1,250 for bookings made before 11th December 2026 (usual price CAD $2,000)
Does The AODA Apply To Your Business?
The AODA applies to businesses and non-profits with employees in Ontario, wherever their head office is based.
- 20 or more employees in Ontario. The Accessibility Compliance Report is due on 31st December 2026 and has to be certified by a senior officer.
- 50 or more employees in Ontario. Your public website must also meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
Missing the report can lead to enforcement, including financial penalties. Our guide to who the AODA covers sets out the requirements in more detail.
What You Get
Most businesses start with a free checker, which gives a score but says very little about whether someone using a screen reader or a keyboard can use the site. Our review is tested by hand, the way your visitors use the website. You can read more on what a free checker can and cannot tell you.
- Three key pages of your choice, agreed on a short call, for example your home page, a main service page and a form.
- An automated scan combined with hands-on testing using a keyboard and a screen reader.
- Written findings against WCAG 2.0 Level AA, set out clearly so you can make the right decisions about what to fix first.

Why Innovation Visual
Innovation Visual is a UK consultancy that helps businesses get accessibility right, from testing and fixing through to keeping it right as teams keep publishing. We have taken complex, high-traffic websites through AODA remediation, and every review we deliver is tested by hand, so the findings you receive are ones you can rely on when your senior officer signs the report.

Frequently Asked Questions
The following are among the questions we hear most often from businesses preparing for the 31st December deadline.
Why would an Ontario business work with a UK consultancy?
Because the standard is the same wherever the work is done, and what matters is who does it well. WCAG 2.0 Level AA is an international standard, and we have taken businesses through compliance regardless of where they are based. Our reviews are tested by hand, our rates for compliance work are very competitive, and everything from the review of your public pages to any remediation can be carried out remotely with no disruption to your team. We quote and invoice our Canadian clients in Canadian dollars, so the price is clear from the start. An outside team also gives your senior officer an independent view of where the website stands before they sign the report.
Does the AODA apply if our head office is outside Ontario?
It applies if you have employees in Ontario. Only employees in Ontario count towards the 20 and 50 employee thresholds, and a business with no Ontario employees is not covered.
Does the review make our website compliant?
The review shows where your site stands against WCAG 2.0 Level AA and what needs fixing. Compliance is delivered from carrying out those fixes, and the senior officer who certifies the report remains responsible for it. Our extensive experience means we are able to deliver compliance cost effectively and quickly in the majority of cases.
Is a free checker enough?
A free checker is a reasonable first step, but its results are not reliable. It can flag issues that do not matter and miss ones that do, and a good score is far from a guarantee of compliance. Our article on free checkers explains the differences.
