As a Digital Content Marketing Executive, you will work closely with our Content Strategist to support online performance for our clients. Your role will involve devising and implementing content strategies, collaborating with our team, and effectively communicating strategies and tactics to clients. With a focus on organic search performance, you will work closely with our Martech and Paid Media teams to create content plans and produce high-quality content for various campaigns across platforms such as web pages, product pages, ad writing, blogs, email marketing, and social media.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Assist in devising and implementing content strategies aligned with clients' business goals.
  • Execute content delivery, including persona document creation, writing effective content, and producing engaging blogs, emails for newsletters and email marketing campaigns.
  • Support the Content Strategist in driving organic search performance for clients in B2C and B2B sectors.
  • Report results to clients in a clear and concise manner, adapting strategies based on insights.
  • Collaborate with relevant team members to develop content strategies optimised for organic search, aligning with client goals.
  • Analyse client data to identify SEO strategies that enhance traffic, rankings, and other on-page and off-page aspects.

About You:

    • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on content creation and organic search performance.
    • Familiarity with B2C and B2B sectors and understanding of their content marketing requirements.
    • Experience in data analysis and using data-driven insights to inform decision making.
    • Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools for on-page and technical SEO analysis.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce engaging and effective content.
    • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse data, draw insights, and make recommendations.
    • Proficiency in technical SEO analysis and the use of SEO tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
    • Familiarity with emerging AI technologies in content creation, optimisation, and outlining.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to review and analyse technical and on-page SEO issues.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    • Proactive and self-motivated, taking ownership of tasks and projects.

    Working Conditions

    • Able to work remotely with 1-2 monthly visits to the office in Elstead, Guildford (likely to be 2-4 visits per month while onboarding for the first 3 months).  
    • Be legally able to work in the UK – although this role is remote, UK law states that all employees must have legal right to work in the UK.
