Working as a Junior Digital Marketing Executive, you will be focused in social media and content creation but also gain experience across all aspects of digital marketing from SEO to PPC and more. And our flexible working arrangements mean you have the choice of working from home or the office, or a bit of both.

The client that you will be working on is a fast-growing health and beauty brand that is based in the UK but selling globally. Therefore an interest in health and beauty as well as social media would be advantageous. The brand is primarily direct to consumer and wants to multiply its social media and content success. This role is vital to the success of this strategy.

About the Role

The key responsibilities of the role:

  • Working with the team to deliver high engagement and increased revenue through social media and content for one of our largest clients.
  • Developing and executing on social media plans on Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube through paid and organic use of these platforms.
  • Creating helpful and engaging content for this client brand that will engage and delight their target audience and build a tribe for the brand.
  • Managing and Liaising with Influencers.
  • Community management including responding to messages.
  • Reporting on the performance of social campaigns after learning how to analyse data in a variety of tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush.
  • Work on email marketing for the brand to drive revenue and engagement in the UK and overseas markets.
  • Learn how to write engaging website content for clients’ sites, including blogs, guest posts, and SEO landing pages.
  • Keep up to date with all the latest trends in SEO and the digital marketing industry.
  • Collaborate with others within the delivery team to deliver excellence in digital marketing to other clients across a variety of sectors in both B2C and B2B spaces.

About You

These are essential for all candidates:

Experience & Education:  Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate suitable intellect to work in a challenging environment. 
Knowledge:

Basic understanding of the pillar concepts of digital marketing and ability to articulate why and how they can be applied.

Skills:

Excellent written and spoken English.

Understanding of consumer engagement with social media.

Ability to write on a range of different subjects eloquently.

Ability to be creative in coming up with ideas and concepts.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Good maths and problem-solving skills.

Good interpersonal skills.

Working

Conditions:  

Able to work remotely with occasional visits to the office.

Be legally able to work in the UK – although this role is remote, UK law states that all employees must have legal right to work in the UK.

The Training Programme

We believe in constant learning and development through the entire team as our industry changes constantly. We therefore invest in training our team and encourage personal development. All members of our team are mandated to undertake at least 8 hours of training and personal development per month. For this rapid development programme, we are doubling this time allocation.

Specialist Expertise Experience & Training

Our plan for you is that after an initial foundation period learning the core principles you will rotate into a number of different expertise areas for a period of time to work in the specialist teams. These expertise areas include Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Paid Media (PPC), Inbound Marketing (including the use of HubSpot), Content Strategy & Development.

Umbrella Skills & Training

Being great at executing different digital marketing tactics is vital but so is understanding and interpreting data and communication with clients and internally. Therefore, our training and experience extends into these areas so that you become a rounded and effective digital marketeer.

We are Google, HubSpot, Trustpilot, Drift and Microsoft Advertising Partners and therefore have access to their training resources online and in person to allow us to further develop your skills. Our expectation would be that after just 12 months into the programme you should have achieved at least 10 industry recognised digital marketing qualifications.

Our training methods range from 1-2-1 mentoring through to team breakfast learning sessions to self-driven learning and also using our external partners to provide specific expertise training. Significant personal development reviews are undertaken every six months in our fast-paced business where learning is a focus for all. There are also monthly catch ups on each individuals training plan progress.

We believe that great performance is well rewarded and the remuneration now and into the future will reflect the abilities and on-going performance of the right candidate. The package on offer is a starting salary of £22,000 - £24,000 + pension.
