AI Workshop for Leaders Start Learning
Birmingham and the wider West Midlands is one of the UK's most economically significant regions, home to advanced manufacturing, financial and professional services, life sciences and a rapidly growing tech sector. Our in-person AI workshops in Birmingham are designed for the senior leaders running those businesses: people who need clarity on AI strategy and a credible path from boardroom intent to operational impact.
We run the full programme in Birmingham, AI Workshop for Leaders plus Using AI Strategically in Marketing and Using AI Strategically in Sales, at the Clayton Hotel Birmingham, with multiple 2026 dates throughout the year.
Why Birmingham?
Famous for its canal network, the Library of Birmingham and a manufacturing heritage rooted in the Industrial Revolution, Birmingham is the largest UK city outside London and the natural commercial centre for the entire Midlands. It's home to HSBC's UK ringfenced bank, major HQ operations across professional services, advanced manufacturing supply chains, and a growing community of tech and AI-focused businesses around Eastside, Digbeth and the Knowledge Quarter. With HS2 and ongoing infrastructure investment, the city's accessibility from across the UK is improving year on year. Our Birmingham workshops are designed for leaders who need to make AI adoption decisions for organisations that span the Midlands and beyond.
Our Birmingham workshops are held at the Clayton Hotel Birmingham, a 4-star hotel at Albert Street, B5 5JE, on the east side of Birmingham city centre.
The hotel is exceptionally well connected. Birmingham Moor Street Station is a 2-minute walk; Birmingham New Street is a 10-minute walk, providing direct rail access from London Euston (around 90 minutes), Manchester, Leeds, the South West and Wales. The Midland Metro tram is conveniently located nearby at the Millennium Point stop, with services every 10–15 minutes connecting to the ICC, Jewellery Quarter, West Bromwich and Wolverhampton. Birmingham International Airport is around 15 minutes by train. For drivers, the hotel is accessible via the M6/A38(M) with discounted parking arrangements at Selfridges Moor Street and B4 Car Park.
The Clayton has 218 guest rooms (refurbished in 2020) and a dedicated conference floor with 10–11 modern meeting rooms accommodating up to 140 delegates. All meeting rooms have natural daylight, built-in AV, projectors and high-speed Wi-Fi. The on-site Grill Restaurant offers contemporary British and international dining; there's a residents' gym and full conference catering on demand.
You're a 5-minute walk from Millennium Point, 2 minutes from the Bullring shopping centre, and within easy reach of Eastside, the Custard Factory and the Symphony Hall area. The ICC and the Eastside Rooms are short walks for delegates combining the workshop with other meetings.

Event Testimonials
"What a delicious feast this veritable “tasting menu” was, as a practical and informed workshop delivered by Innovation Visual. With enough information given to allow for a much more informed understanding of AI, and the current impact that AI is and will continue to have on Industry. And enough practical information presented to give you a grounded and confident approach to the basics of AI Agent prompting, I would thoroughly recommend this workshop to any business professional who is keen to get to grips with AI in every respect, at a foundational level. Very good indeed, well worth it."
