Written by Megan | 31-May-2023 13:53:31

Every month we review all the newest functionality updates that HubSpot has released to ensure we are completely up to date and can share all the most important and exciting news with you as soon as it is available.

1. Marketing Hub

Meetings Data in Customer Journey Analytics

Marketing Hub Enterprise users are now able to use meetings booked and meeting outcome data in Customer Journey Analytics.

  • Meetings booked measures when a contact books a meeting that is logged in their HubSpot account, such as through the meetings link or when it is logged against a contact’s CRM record.
  • Meetings outcome records when a booked meeting on the CRM has changed, such as if it’s still scheduled.

What Does This Mean for Users?

Having a meeting booked is a key part of a customer’s journey, so being able to track which steps result in contacts booking meetings and whether the meetings result in a conversion is vital.

Create Campaign Templates

Marketing Hub Pro and Enterprise users are now able to create their own templates for campaigns and save it in their campaign template library.

2. Marketing Hub & CMS Hub

Updates to the Pop-up CTA Tool

For Starter, Pro and Enterprise Marketing Hub & CMS Hub users, the ‘pop-up’ CTAs tool is merging with the existing CTAs tool under one nav item, so all of the CTA assets will be found in one place.

Also, users will be able to create embedded button and banner CTAs, meaning users won’t have to rely upon the help of a developer.

Both of these Marketing Hub and CMS Hub new features are in public beta.

3. Sales Hub

Book Meetings on Behalf of Other Users

Pro and Enterprise Sales Hub users will now be able to book meetings for other users through the CRM scheduling flow. They will be able to differentiate between those who organised a meeting and who the meeting is hosted by on the activity timeline. This feature update is currently in public beta.

4. Service Hub

Multiple Knowledge Bases

Enterprise users will be able to host up to 5 knowledge bases within their HubSpot account. This means that Enterprise users will be able to make their articles more personalised towards their specific customer segments.

Capacity Limits for Live Chat Agents

Enterprise Service Hub admins will be able to set capacity limits for live chat agents, meaning agents can avoid overwhelm by focusing on a maximum number of chats at any one time. This update is currently in public beta.

Coloured Ticket Tags

Super admins are now able to create up to 10 ticket tags based on a set of conditions. For Starter Service Hub users, the coloured ticket tags will apply to all pipelines. For Professional and Enterprise Service Hub users, these coloured ticket tags can be applied to a specific pipeline.

5. Sales Hub & Service Hub

Service Playbook Templates

Pro and Enterprise HubSpot users will now be able to use Business Review and Customer Onboarding playbooks in their Sales and Service Hub portals. We’ve explained a bit more about how businesses can use these below:

  • Business Review Playbook: Enable Customer Success teams to capture structured notes and data during customer check-ins.
  • Customer Onboarding Playbook: Help guide the team’s first call with a new customer.

Forecast Insights Data

Pro and Enterprise Sales Hub and Service Hub users are now able to monitor how their forecast and pipeline are trending throughout the month, quarter, and/or year.

Assign a Descriptive Name to Phone Numbers

Available for Starter, Pro and Enterprise Sales Hub and Service Hub customers, users will now be able to create a personalised name field for their phone numbers, meaning they can easily identify a specific phone number and its intended use.

6. Operations Hub

Deal and Ticket Property Insights

Available for Pro and Enterprise Operations Hub customers, users are now able to review deal and ticket property insights to monitor and track whether these properties are used, whether there’s duplicates and analyse quality metrics.

At-Risk and Unused Workflow Trends

Enterprise and Pro users are now able to view at-risk and unused workflows in their data quality command centre. This means that instead of manually checking workflow errors, Pro and Enterprise users will be able to see how their at-risk and unused workflows are trending over time to ensure their workflows stay healthy.

7. CRM Platform

Saved Views & New Filterable Properties in Lists

Available for all HubSpot customers, users are now able to:

  • Create and export saved views to help with managing their most important lists.
  • Filter by new properties such as ‘7-day change’ and ‘Last Record Removed At’ to help find critical lists.
  • The ‘Recently Deleted Lists’ now includes lists that haven’t had a new contact added in the last 60 days.

Set Task Due Date to Count Business Days in Workflows

Pro and Enterprise HubSpot users are now able to set the due date and reminder date in workflows to only count business days.

Repeat a Previous Import

All HubSpot users are now able to repeat a previous import, helping to save time by simply uploading a file, confirming the property mappings are correct and then finishing the import.

Association Column Headers Are Simpler

This feature update impacts all HubSpot users. The syntax for associations is now much simpler, making it easier to add in new association column options.

Conditional Logic Update to the ‘Create Record’ Form

Pro and Enterprise HubSpot users will be able to add in conditional logic for properties with defined options to the create record form for contacts, companies, deals, tickets and custom objects. This update means that only relevant information will be surfaced, which will improve data quality and completeness during the record creation process.

This feature update is currently in public beta.
