Our surveys and competitions are created to help find out what people think about things to help us tailor our products and services and sometimes those of our clients to be more relevant and effective. The topics of our surveys are as broad and diverse as the portfolio of clients and industries that we deliver digital marketing services for.
As recognition of the time it takes for people to complete these surveys and competitions, we normally offer a thank-you reward, usually in the form of entering a draw to win vouchers or products, which are either posted or emailed to our winners. Everyone who enters the competition and submits valid details are entered into the prize draw. By providing your email address, we are able to contact you about the prize results and a few details about the key survey findings. We also invite you to see the full survey results if you are interested.
The only personal information that we collect, store and use are those you submitted in the survey, which typically include your name, phone number and your email address. We respect your privacy and your data and therefore our privacy policy is very simple. We will never sell the information you provide to us with any other company. We will take all reasonable measures to keep your private details safe and secure. Our surveys are carefully written to help give us insight and views to topical issues. This information is then collated and analysed and used to tailor products and services, inform you of relevant products and services, create articles, blog posts and infographics about the findings. The law allows you to ask for a copy of the information we hold that you provided to us – the answers to any survey or competiion – under the Data Protection Act. As specified by law if you request a copy of the data we will charge you an administration fee to cover this. In addition to any rights you have in law we will, on your request, delete any electronic records of your personal information that we control from our systems.
If you wish to enter our future surveys and competitions, you can opt in to receive further email communication from Innovation Visual Limited or any of our trading brands. We will then include you in our mailing list and you will be notified of new competitions. If you do not wish to receive these emails either contact us directly with the subject line Unsubscribe or use the unsubscribe link that is present on all of these communications, and we will remove you from ALL our email communications.
All entrants are given a number. At the close of the competition, the numbers are entered into a digital randomiser and a number is selected at random by this system. The first number drawn is the winner. If follow-up prizes are also offered, these are then drawn in the same way. We then contact the winners, using the information they provided. We ask winners to contact us to confirm they have won and to check any details for getting the prize posted or emailed to them. If the winners do not respond within 4 working days, we reassign the prize to a new number drawn.
If the competition or give away is at a physical event we may set a time for the draw to take place on our stand or other location. These draws will be done to physically select and entry in a random way from all physical, and where appropriate digital entries.
