Why We Run Surveys and Competitions

We run surveys and competitions to gather valuable insights that help us tailor our products and services, and sometimes those of our clients, to be more relevant and effective. Our survey topics are as broad and diverse as the portfolio of clients and industries we serve.

As recognition of the time you've taken to participate, we typically offer a prize draw to win vouchers, products, or experiences. These prizes are delivered to winners either by post or digitally, depending on the nature of the prize.

 

How to Enter

Entry methods vary by competition and may include:

  • Completing a survey at one of our event stands

  • Scanning a QR code to complete an online form

  • Participating in an online or in competition

Specific entry requirements, eligibility criteria, closing dates and prize details will be clearly displayed for each individual competition.

 

How We Select Winners

All valid entrants are assigned a number. At the close of the competition, these numbers are entered into a digital randomiser, which selects winners at random.  For competitions held at physical events, we may conduct the prize draw at a specified time and location, randomly selecting from all entries received.  Winners will be contacted using the details they provided. If a winner doesn't respond within 4 working days, the prize will be reassigned to a newly drawn entrant.

 

Your Personal Information

We collect only the personal information you provide when entering, which typically includes your name, email address and phone number. This information is used to:

  • Enter you into the prize draw

  • Contact you if you win

  • Send you one email about the competition results and key survey findings (where applicable)

We respect your privacy and will never sell your information to other companies. We take all reasonable measures to keep your details safe and secure.

 

Staying in Touch (Optional)

When you enter a competition, you can choose to opt in to receive future communications from Innovation Visual about our products, services and upcoming competitions. This is entirely optional and doesn't affect your entry.

If you've opted in and later wish to unsubscribe, you can use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or contact us directly, and we'll remove you from all our mailing lists.

 

Your Data Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Ask us to delete your personal information from our systems
  • Withdraw consent for us to contact you

Survey Data

Information gathered through surveys is collated, analysed and used to inform products and services, create research articles, blog posts and infographics. Individual responses are anonymised when results are shared publicly.
