Professor Paul Watson FREng FBCS CEng PhD is the Director of the UK's National Innovation Centre for Data and has been a Professor of Computer Science at Newcastle University for over 20 years. A distinguished thought leader in the field, Paul is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the British Computer Society, and a Chartered Engineer. His expertise was recognised with the prestigious 2014 Microsoft Jim Gray eScience Award.
