We achieved up to 80x estimated Return on Ad Spend for Xenia Venues, turning their Google and Meta Ads into a consistent, profitable revenue-generating machine that can be repeated confidently every time a new venue joins the group.
Xenia Venues owns and operates a portfolio of UK wedding venues, including Copdock Hall and High House. A wedding at either venue is usually worth somewhere between £18,000 to £25,000, so the commercial difference between a well-qualified enquiry and a poor one is substantial. The business has ambitious growth plans built around acquiring further venues and wanted a paid media approach that could be trusted, measured accurately, and repeated confidently every time a new venue joins the group.
Xenia Venues came to us with ambitious growth plans for Copdock Hall and High House, and a clear brief for paid media. They needed enquiries to convert into bookings, not just add to the volume, so their venue teams could focus their time on couples genuinely likely to book.
They also wanted rock-solid conversion tracking across Google and Meta, including a properly configured Meta Pixel, so every campaign decision could be backed by trustworthy data and every pound of spend could be tied to a genuine enquiry rather than surface-level engagement like a landing page view.
Xenia Venues also had a clear commercial ambition. Following their investment in the two venues, they wanted to increase profitability by repositioning both brands, attracting couples planning premium, higher-value weddings rather than simply generating more enquiries at any value. That meant paid media needed to work harder on who it attracted, not just the number of people it reached.

We started by fixing the foundations.
Conversion tracking was rebuilt from scratch. This was actioned across both Google and Meta, including a proper Meta Pixel setup, so that we could report on which campaigns, assets, and keywords were performing best with confidence. Only once that was in place could campaigns be optimised towards real enquiries rather than surface-level engagement.
From there, we restructured the accounts. Xenia Venues runs regular open days throughout the year, so we built these into always-on, evergreen campaigns rather than one-off promotions. That gives Google’s and Meta’s algorithms enough sustained data to keep optimising, so each campaign builds momentum and finds the right audience rather than starting from a blank page every time.
Targeting was improved on both platforms. On Google, keyword coverage was expanded and refined so campaigns could capture a wider range of genuine search intent. On Meta, we moved away from targeting based on broad demographic guesswork and towards signals that better reflect people actively planning a wedding, refining this further over time based on performance data to improve cost efficiency.

We also elevated creatives and messaging to match the premium repositioning for each venue. This aligned with the new branding and websites delivered as part of our wider partnership. For ads specifically, we built a dedicated HubSpot landing page to personalise content based on what a visitor searched for to reassure them that the venue could offer exactly what they were looking for. This resulted in stronger engagement and fewer people leaving the page straight away.

Finally, we set up always-on remarketing, using monthly refreshed lists of live and recently lost enquiries pulled from Xenia’s CRM. It has become one of the most cost-efficient campaigns of the account, automatically recapturing couples who might otherwise have been lost.
Paid media did not work in isolation. Over the same period, we delivered new branding and new websites for both venues, alongside SEO and AEO activities. Those changes had a compound effect that lifted paid performance too with a stronger brand and a better landing experience converting more of the same traffic.
For paid media specifically, we followed this framework:
With accurate tracking and a properly structured account in place, both venues are seeing strong, sustained returns on ad spend, the clearest measure of their ads’ profitability. Average estimated ROAS across January to July 2026 (based on actual deals and results):
Beyond ROAS, enquiry volume dropped slightly in H1 2026 vs. H1 2025, but bookings and revenue have increased:

Fewer, better-qualified enquiries are converting into higher-value weddings, exactly the change Xenia Venues set out to achieve. This means the venue teams are able to spend more time with couples who naturally align to the venue proposition.
Xenia Venues’ CRM (a platform that specialises in the wedding industry) currently does not support full click-to-contract attribution. This means the ROAS is estimated based on enquiry-to-booking conversion rates and average contract value per wedding, calculated from accurate, verified conversion tracking.
Wedding venue marketing is naturally seasonal, and both Google and Meta see fluctuations due to external factors. Because activity now runs across both platforms with a stable, well-structured foundation, a dip on one is typically offset by steady performance on the other, giving Xenia Venues a paid media strategy that can weather short-term fluctuations rather than being knocked off course by them.
This is further strengthened by our multi-channel approach with SEO & AEO activities complementing paid advertising to mitigate risks and reduce reliance on one platform.
"We didn't just want more enquiries, we wanted ones that turn into bookings. Innovation Visual got our tracking right, restructured the accounts properly, and the numbers now hold up. Bookings are up, revenue's grown even faster, and we've got a model we can roll out to every new venue we acquire."
